CalTech-trained physicist turned minister turned novelist. Writing The Eagle’s Talon: Prophecy’s Price, an epic fantasy where slavery, greed, fear, and hatred drive ruin—and love might be the answer.

I can’t remember a time when I couldn’t read. I dreamed of being a writer in my teens, but like many authors, I got sidetracked. I became a Caltech-trained physicist and spent a career building satellites. Yet physics couldn’t answer the questions I cared about most, so I turned to metaphysics and eventually became a minister, serving as the spiritual leader of a community for six years. Now, I’ve returned to my first love—writing fantasy fiction.
For twenty-five years, I’ve been imagining a story called The Eagle’s Talon. It has grown into a trilogy, weaving together themes of identity, love, prophecy, and manipulation. At its heart are Talon and Andrew, two young men navigating a world shaped by fear, hatred, and greed—and discovering whether love can still change everything.
